With the participation of more than 200 national and international companies representing over 800 brands, the 20th edition of the Food Industries and Packaging Exhibition – Food Expo 2025 – kicked off at the Damascus Fairgrounds. This milestone event marked a turning point in the history of Syrian trade fairs, as it is the first exhibition of its kind to be held after the liberation, sending a strong message of revival for the Syrian economy.
Within this exceptional event, Jo Beik registered a remarkable and distinguished presence, showcasing in its pavilion a wide selection of its leading products in rice, spices, nuts, coffee, raw materials, and other high-quality food items.
The Jo Beik pavilion proved to be a key attraction for visitors, including businessmen, importers, and distributors. The exhibition welcomed nearly 300 businessmen from various Arab and foreign countries, in addition to 20,000 visitors from across Syria’s provinces. The event directly contributed to opening new channels of cooperation and expanding export opportunities to regional and international markets.
In this context, the company’s co-founder, Mr. Amjad Al-Abdullah, affirmed that participating in the exhibition represents an important step towards supporting and developing the national economy. He stressed that Jo Beik consistently seeks to present Syrian products in the best light, through a firm commitment to quality, innovation, and openness to global markets.
Despite the challenges facing the food sector in Syria, Jo Beik remains dedicated to driving production and export forward, in line with the clear vision of the Syrian government, which believes in the competitiveness of Syrian products and their ability to reclaim their regional and international standing.
The 20th edition of Food Expo thus highlighted the strategic importance of the food sector in Syria and demonstrated its ability to recover and expand. For its part, Jo Beik continues to work to remain at the forefront of companies supporting this trajectory, through its active and sustained participation in specialized exhibitions that open new horizons for growth and reinforce the presence of Syrian products in global markets.
